Years of transformation

I’ve been producing the Waggoner since 2003, and it’s come a *very* long way.

When I began, all of the hundreds of photos, ads, sidebars and maps were in black and white. With the introduction of color and a little redesign, this “Bookazine” really took off. That first year was a killer. The second year...also tough, because our numbers of advertisers rose dramatically, so there were a huge number more ads to create.

Then we decided to change the production schedule to before Christmas, every year. So the same work: one less month to do it.

But she’s a beauty. And when I wear my Waggoner sweatshirt out and about, I never fail to meet a faithful reader.

It feels great.
